Owners want the boat gear, kayaks, tackle, outdoor furniture and tools to stay here instead of riding back to Bundaberg or Childers every time. One road in, and sand under everything
Soft sand is the whole access story. A loaded truck needs something firm to stand on. If there is a driveway slab or a compacted pad, that is usually where the container should go, even if you had pictured it further into the yard. Once it is down, lift it clear of the sand on pavers or sleepers. Sand holds moisture against the underside, out of sight.

If something firm is there to stand on — slab, compacted drive, or road base — usually yes. Loose sand is the risk. A photo of the drive and the pad is the way to know before the day.

A used box that has been signed off dry, or a new one if the house will keep it for years. The cheapest grade arrives as it stands, and we will not call it watertight. Salt finds the rust it already has.
Can the tinny stay in the container between visits?
Yes, in a 20ft if it is a tinny on a trailer. Flush the motor, rinse the salt, let it dry, then shut the doors with a moisture absorber inside so condensation does not work on it while you are away.
Does Bundaberg Regional Council need to approve a box at Woodgate?
