Why buy locally

Where it sits matters as much as what you buy

Anyone can freight a container into Bundaberg. Fewer people will tell you to put it on the high side of the block before they take your order, or that the unit going to Bargara should be a grade better than the one going to Gin Gin because salt air doesn't care what you paid.

That's most of what we do on the phone: work out the grade the job actually needs, and where on your place the thing should live. It takes five minutes and it's the part that decides whether you're happy with it in ten years.

How our sales & hire work
Where we run

Three very different delivery jobs

Town and the coast

Bundaberg, Bargara and out to Woodgate. Mostly tilt-tray, often the same week. Near the water we'll talk you into the better grade, because salt air is the thing that ages a container out here.

Coastal deliveries

The farming belt

Childers, the Isis and the blocks running north-west to Gin Gin. Cane, macadamias and small crops — plus compliant DG units for the spray shed, which most yards won't stock.

Farm deliveries

Down the highway

Howard, Torbanlea, Maryborough and Hervey Bay. A regular run, so the freight is usually better than people assume — and worth asking about even if you're further south again.

What "checked" actually means

It's an easy word to put on a website. On a cargo-worthy unit it means someone climbs in, shuts the doors and looks for daylight. Floor sounded for soft spots. Door seals and gear worked so they still open when the timber has swollen. Roof checked for ponding, and any bare steel treated before it travels.

We also sell as-is units, which are cheaper and are not sold as watertight. We'll say plainly which grade you're looking at rather than let you find out later. Ask and we'll send photos of your actual container, serial number visible, before it's delivered — and if it isn't right, it doesn't go on the truck.
