Deliveries

We sort the truck. You sort the ground.

Freight is quoted with the container, organised by us, and run by operators we use every week — tilt-tray for most 10s and 20s, sidelifter for 40s, crane truck when access says so. Around here the deciding factor usually isn't the truck. It's whether the ground will hold it.

  • Tilt-tray wants about 3.5m of width and 20m of straight run-up
  • Sidelifters place 40-footers beside the truck — allow around 30m of working room
  • Crane (HIAB) lifts go over fences and down slopes; dearer, but very little is impossible
  • Soft sand near the coast and heavy soil through the farming belt are the two that bog trucks — talk to us about timing after rain
  • Blocks, sleepers or pavers under the four corner castings is the right set-down, every time
  • If you're near the Burnett or the Mary, we'll ask about height on the block before anything else

How wide is the clearest path to the drop spot?

Straight run-up to where it's going?

Anything overhead — wires, branches, awnings?

Not on the list? We run further north and south than most people assume, and the freight is often better than expected. Worth a call either way — and if you're unsure about access, there's a full rundown in what we need to get a container onto your block.
